Founder’s Note
We started this firm out of a conviction that institutional change matters just as much as technological progress. In conversation after conversation, with policymakers, military leaders, investors, and founders, one theme kept emerging: we don’t lack ideas or ambition, but the architecture to translate them into real capability is missing.
Sweden has the talent, the capital, and the urgency. What we need now is alignment — across sectors, across systems, and across borders.
This firm exists to help build that alignment. To serve as a bridge between innovation and policy. Between vision and execution. Between those with the mandate to act, and those with the tools to help them act faster, better, and more deliberately.
This is not just about strategy. It’s about shaping the conditions for sovereignty, resilience, and democratic strength.

Who We Are
We are a Swedish-based strategy and advisory firm focused on the structural conditions for defense innovation. Our work centers on the intersection of government, industry, and capital, supporting institutions as they respond to new strategic and operational demands.
Our point of departure is institutional: progress in defense and security requires more than new technologies. It requires frameworks that allow those technologies to be developed, tested, and fielded with speed and accountability. That means fixing the friction points, procurement systems, regulatory barriers, and siloed governance that stall momentum.
We operate with a clear premise: institutional agility is not an abstract goal. It is a practical requirement for democratic resilience.
What We Do
Strategy & Institutional Design
We advise government bodies, state-owned agencies, and established industries on how to structure for relevance in defense and national security. Our work combines strategy and innovation support, helping organizations shape policy, design frameworks, and develop industrial capabilities that align strategic priorities with technological opportunity and institutional capacity.
Analysis & Research
We produce applied analysis to inform decision-making. Our work draws from field interviews, comparative case studies, and direct engagement with stakeholders across the innovation chain. We contribute to the policy debate to clarify bottlenecks and highlight actionable reforms.
Capability Acceleration
We act as an external scouting and validation function for dual-use and defense innovation, identifying promising technologies, assessing their operational relevance, and guiding founders from concept to capability. By helping early-stage teams align with mission needs, build institutional credibility, and connect with capital and end users, we bridge the gap between emerging technologies and the organizations that need them most.
Our Perspective
Sweden, like much of Europe, is undergoing a strategic reawakening. Defense and security are no longer peripheral concerns. They are central to the stability of democratic life and the viability of open societies. But the institutions responsible for ensuring that stability were built for a different era.
What we face now is not a shortage of capacity, but a failure of alignment. Innovation happens, but in fragments. Capital exists, but lacks guidance. Policy shifts, but often without traction.
We believe this moment requires something rare: institutions that can learn, adapt, and scale without losing legitimacy. Our work is focused on building those institutions, not just for Sweden, but as part of a broader movement to rethink how democracies generate power, resilience, and relevance in the twenty-first century.
